Can my attourney offer a guilty plea for no jail time for misdemeanor domestic violence?

have been charged with domestic violence. i in fact was sulted first by my wife. her son claims he saw it all but didnt. i have no witnesses that say otherwise. case seems hopeless for me to prove my innocense, have plead not guilty. can my attorney offer to the prosecutor my guilty plea if i get no jail time?
